Things to do right after waking up

1. Yoga 

We all probably know this by now but some yoga will clear up your mind and help you focus on exactly what you need to do without feeling too scatterbrained for the rest of the day. If you feel too lazy to do a full out sun salutation, a few stretches before getting up from bed is still enough to help you feel less overwhelmed.  

2. Starting a load of laundry 

We all hate running up and down the stairs to do our laundry. But this is a great way to feel energized and ready for the rest of the day. It also saves time on those crazy busy days. 

3. Journal 

 Writing down goals, a to do list or even something that will cheer you up, is another great way to feel ready for the day. Whether you have a busy day or a chill day ahead, writing something to look forward to for the day will help you feel motivated to get up from bed and do something!
